Agent Assisted Private Sale: Even their local agent was impressed!

In 2001 Michael and Annette were planning to relocate interstate and prepared their property for sale. They believed their 2.5 acres in Windsor Downs NSW was worth more than their local agent’s estimation.

This was their first attempt to sell their own property, and they signed a sole agency agreement with the agent that allowed them to use both the MasterSell® Agent Assisted Private Sale service and the local agent.

Back then, the internet was not the main source of property sales, so the customized advertising campaign MasterSell designed consisted mainly of local paper advertisements, signage and brochure distribution. After eight weeks of intensive marketing Michael and Annette received an offer for the full price – $79,000 above their local agent’s estimation. They were dealing direct with the buyer with assistance from MasterSell along the way.
